Series Description
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has implemented a unified quality control system across its manufacturing facilities. All materials and components supplied to the factories undergo incoming inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Quality control checks are carried out at every stage of production to verify the reliability of individual components and assemblies. After leaving the production line, each air conditioner undergoes a 20-minute functional test.
Information about the personnel involved in assembly, along with the test results, is recorded and stored electronically for several years for each manufactured unit. In addition, several air conditioners from each production batch are selected daily for further testing in the factory's laboratories.
In automatic operation, residential air conditioners equipped with the I FEEL function use advanced algorithms based on fuzzy logic technology. This technology enables the air conditioner to select and maintain temperature settings more precisely, taking into account the user's individual comfort preferences.
Residential air conditioners feature a 24-hour ON/OFF timer, allowing operation to be scheduled in 10-minute increments.
The air conditioners are also equipped with an automatic restart function that restores operation after a power failure. Before the interruption, operating information — including the ON/OFF status, operating mode, selected temperature, and other settings — is saved in non-volatile flash memory, where it can be retained for decades.
The indoor unit's control circuitry uses a switch-mode power supply (SMPS). This technology reduces the size and weight of the indoor unit, minimizes power dissipation, and, most importantly, helps prevent controller malfunctions caused by fluctuations or temporary drops in the mains voltage.
